ROT Deduction

Anyone who hires a company for home renovation or construction can get a reduction of labor cost of 30%, something called ROT deduction, It is only the labor cost that gives the right to a ROT deduction.
Root deductions can be made i.a. for:

• tear down walls and rebuild the layout of a house and work with additional insulation
• make improvement works, for example changing plastic carpet to wooden floor or wet room wallpaper to tile
• making an extension to a residential building, storage, garage, carport or guest house.
• build patios and balconies, for example in wood or on cast slabs, provided they are built connected with the house
• install awnings and site-built furniture, for example wardrobes and bookshelves
• install fixed kitchen and bathroom fittings and install white goods in connection with comprehensive construction work or renovation
