RUT deduction
When you hire a company for various types of work in the home, you can deduct the
labor cost with a so-called RUT deduction.
It is only the labor cost that gives the right to a RUT deduction and up to 50 percent of the labor cost can be deducted.
All depending on the type of work involved and how large deductions were previously made during the year.
RUT deduction can be done for the following type of wor done in your home:
- Furniture. Move, assemble and disassemble furniture and chattels
- Clean, wash, cook and sew
- Transport for sale, reuse and recycling
- Pack and move household goods and furniture
- Gardening
